Chemical devices refer to the downstream processing equipment used for petroleum and ethylene processing, using process pipelines made of carbon steel pipes and stainless steel pipes (seamless and welded): Commonly used carbon steel pipe materials include 20#(GB/T8163) and 20G (GB5310). 20g and 20# (GB9948) are rarely used. If used for Class A pipelines, 100% UT is required; commonly used stainless steel types are generally 304, 316L, 316Ti, etc. In a purely theoretical sense, chemical devices generally do not use CrMo steel and CrMoV steel types, as the entire device processing technology does not involve high-temperature, high-pressure, and hydrogenation conditions, placing more emphasis on the corrosion resistance of the material transfer pipelines. Special steel types include Monel and Mo2Cu.
